Main Info
Koh Norea, a transformative urban development project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is set to become a landmark destination. Situated at the convergence of the Mekong and Bassac rivers, this $2.5 billion project aims to create a modern, sustainable island city with luxury residential, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities. Spearheaded by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), Koh Norea will feature a well-integrated transportation system, including bridges and a ferry service, to connect it seamlessly with Koh Pich and the rest of Phnom Penh. While the project raises environmental concerns due to land reclamation, the developers are committed to sustainable practices. With the completion of the Koh Norea Bridge in 2023, accessibility has significantly improved, reducing congestion on National Road 1. As the project progresses, Koh Norea promises to set a new standard in urban living for Cambodia’s capital city
