Boeng Krachap Lake

Plan a quiet landscape stop around Boeng Krachap, recorded geographically as Boeng Krachab in Tboung Khmum province.

The lake-area point is distinct from similarly named waters in Kampong Cham. It does not establish a particular private garden, restaurant, resort entrance or permanent public beach.

How to Get There

Reach Suong and Memot by road on the National Road 7 corridor east of Kampong Cham. Use a car or local road transport for individual temples, agricultural areas and river communities.

For Boeng Krachap Lake, continue toward Boeng Krachab lake area, Tboung Khmum. A car or motorbike covers the local road section; use the established approach for the final walk and keep a return vehicle for a countryside outing.

Admission

A waterside walk, parking, a private leisure area and boating are separate activities. A reliable current admission tariff for the whole landscape is not published in the reviewed sources.

Things to Do

Enjoy the water views from an established public approach, photograph the landscape and spend time in a permitted rest area. Keep fishing, irrigation structures and working access clear.

What to Eat

Buy a cooked rice or noodle meal in Suong or Memot before a countryside outing. Durian and other fruit are seasonal; tasting and purchases are separate from permission to enter a working orchard.

Where to Stay

Suong suits the western province and Memot the eastern agricultural and archaeological areas. Kampong Cham can also serve as a base for western Tboung Khmum outings.

Best Time to Visit

Morning and late afternoon offer cooler waterside light. Water levels and spillway flow change with rainfall; a dam or reservoir should not be treated as a safe swimming pool.
