Psar Kraom Riverfront

Description

Psar Kraom is the riverside market area of Kampong Chhnang city, a starting point for looking across the Tonle Sap landscape. A public riverfront stop can fit around a visit to the town.

Exposed sand and usable banks change with the water. Koh Krabei is a separately named island and village area; this city guide does not establish a public beach or visitor landing there.

How to Get There

From Phnom Penh, travel north on National Road 5 to Kampong Chhnang by bus, minivan or car. The town is the road base for Roleabier and Teuk Phos, with separate river routes toward lake communities.
