O'Choam Waterfall

Description

O’Choam is a documented community ecotourism waterfall destination in Kampong Lpov commune. Field reporting describes several stages of falling water and a longer approach to the upper falls.

The lower leisure area and a walk to an upper cascade are different levels of effort. Community meals or camping described in older reports require a fresh agreement with hosts.

How to Get There

Reach Battambang by bus, minivan or car along National Road 5. Tuk-tuks and cars connect the city with nearby temples and countryside stops.

For O'Choam Waterfall, continue toward O Choam area, Kampong Lpov commune, Samlot district. A car or motorbike covers the local road section; use the established approach for the final walk and keep a return vehicle for a countryside outing.

Admission

Entry, parking and activities can be charged separately at recreation sites. A reliable current tariff is not published in the reviewed sources; keep a separate cash allowance for the visit rather than relying on an old quoted price.
