Description
Prek Toal is a floating community and protected bird landscape in Battambang Province. Community tourism connects lake livelihoods with conservation and locally hosted activities.
The village outing and specialist bird-sanctuary visit are distinct booking components. Osmose’s current programme offers guided village and craft visits, with birdwatching as an additional arrangement; neither a village ticket nor an ordinary ferry guarantees reserve entry.

Reach Battambang by bus, minivan or car along National Road 5. Tuk-tuks and cars connect the city with nearby temples and countryside stops.
Use Prek Toal floating village and protected bird landscape, Tonle Sap as the local approach area for Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary & Community. Continue beyond the road base on an established guided programme; forest tracks and wildlife routes are different from public town roads.

Guided conservation and community programmes are booked as activities, with transport, guiding, meals or overnight stays priced according to the chosen programme. A sanctuary boundary is not an unrestricted public entrance. A reliable single admission price is not published in the reviewed material.

Take a guided boat visit, observe the floating village with residents’ permission and ask about water-hyacinth craft activities. Add protected-area birdwatching through a responsible guide and follow nest-viewing rules.
