Description

Orange-growing landscapes are documented around Phnom Kravanh, and tourism sources suggest an orchard visit alongside the Lbak Kamronh area. A visit should be agreed with a receiving grower rather than assumed from a roadside orchard.

Pursat orange can also be a variety name, so it does not prove where a particular orchard is located.

How to Get There

Reach Pursat on National Road 5 by bus, minivan or car. National Road 55 is the inland mountain corridor toward Pramaoy and Veal Veng; lake villages lie on the Tonle Sap side.

Continue toward Angkrong / Phnom Kravanh farming landscape for Phnom Kravanh Orange Orchard Visits. Travel by car or motorbike to the agreed farm meeting point; permission is needed before entering working fields or plantation premises.

Admission

A farm visit is an agricultural activity rather than a standard public park ticket. Meals, tastings, demonstrations and accommodation are separate products; a reliable single tariff is not published in the reviewed sources.

Things to Do

Learn about cultivation through a grower-agreed visit and buy fruit directly if offered. Ask before picking, entering rows or photographing workers.

Place and local context ↗

What to Eat

Try locally grown citrus when in season, freshwater fish and rice dishes. Stock up with water and picnic supplies before driving into the western mountains.

Where to Stay

Pursat town is useful for the riverfront and lowland heritage sites. Pramaoy and Osoam suit western mountain itineraries; they are separate bases from the lake villages.

Best Time to Visit

Go during a grower's receiving time, preferably in cooler daylight. Harvest and crop availability vary by farm and season; a farm name alone does not establish a fruit-picking programme.

Before You Go

Respect private land and farm work. Do not promise picking, tastings, harvest dates or prices from an old video.
