What to Eat

Fish, seafood and rice dishes suit the coastal part of the province. Carry a packed lunch for a forest outing; community and boat programmes can include meals when sold as part of the trip.

Where to Stay

Koh Kong town works for the western coast and nearby mangroves. Use Tatai for river stays, Chi Phat for its community trails, or Koh Sdach for the southern archipelago.

Best Time to Visit

Morning or late afternoon is comfortable for outdoor city walking. Plan evening entertainment around the dated programme rather than a general daytime sightseeing schedule.

Before You Go

Use river activities only under suitable conditions and follow the operator’s instructions. Check life jackets, changing arrangements and the return journey.
